Born in Naples, (IT), Massimo Imperatore established himself as an expressive and eclectic guitar player and composer.

Inspired by the powerful contrasts and dramatic effects used by expressionist artists, he relentlessly searches for new musical elements by diving into the guitar’s sound possibilities, challenging the instrument's conventional limits, and revealing unexpected compositional outcomes.

Although rooted in jazz, he developed a unique guitar style encompassing multiple genres within his vocabulary, allowing him to work with countless distinct projects.

Based in Amsterdam since 2017, he received his Master’s Degree in Jazz Guitar from the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam.
